At Leaf, you'll join a global community rooted in cultural curiosity, education, and preservation — powered by people who believe in the arts. As an intern, you become part of the team that keeps these traditions alive, both locally in Asheville and across our international programs.

Leaf internships offer hands-on engagement with cultures, artists, and educators from around the world. You'll contribute to work that deepens understanding, builds lasting connections, and creates real impact for individuals and communities alike.

One of the most meaningful ways to get involved is through a committed internship placement. Every hour you contribute directly fuels our programs, extending far beyond the festival itself. Through Leaf International, you'll support the preservation of cultural traditions across 10 countries. Through Leaf Schools & Streets, you'll help bring arts education into local classrooms and community programs. And through the Artists ReLeaf Fund, you'll play a role in delivering direct financial support to musicians and visual artists recovering from the Helene floods.
