LEAF Arts & Parks Summer Camp is a joint partnership between LEAF Schools & Streets and Asheville Parks & Recreation. The camp is a natural product of each organization’s mission: LEAF Community Arts is a non-profit organization, building community, connecting
cultures and enriching lives through the arts – locally and globally – with festivals, community events, and arts education programs; Asheville Parks & Recreation Department is dedicated to enhancing your quality of life by providing diverse recreational and educational experiences.

LEAF Arts & Parks Camp 2019

Week I – July 22-26 | Week II – July 29-August 2

Partnership of LEAF Schools & Streets + Asheville Parks & Recreation

LEAF Arts & Parks Summer Camp is open to ALL rising 1st through 5th graders in Buncombe County and will take place at the Dr. Wesley Grant Sr. Southside Center. Due to the location of Camp, we remain committed to placing our focus on equity, inclusion and sharing the history of the neighborhoods that the Camp is occupying. At the conclusion of each week of Camp, youth will have the opportunity to showcase what they’ve learned in a finale performance for families and community members. During LEAF Arts & Parks Camp, youth will learn about global cultures, friendship and performing arts by stepping into the magical world of LEAF Cultural Arts in a week of curated activities, including – dance workshops, healing arts, face painting, drumming, circus arts and much, much more!

Having trouble finding LEAF Arts & Parks Camp when you go to the registration page? Once you're in the registration page, you'll want to select Dr. Wesley Grant Center and scroll the the very bottom to find the LEAF Arts & Parks Camp selection. It may say that spaces are available for waitlist only so, don't fret! Go ahead and submit your registration and as spaces become available a member of Asheville Parks & Rec will reach out to you to confirm.
