LEAF Schools & Streets and Asheville Parks & Recreation Present

 LEAF Camp!

Kids stepped into the magical world of LEAF for a week of fun activities. LEAF Summer Camp re-created the beloved festival experience for kids as they participated in dance workshops, healing arts, face painting, drumming workshops, hula hooping, costuming, performances and much more!

During LEAF Camp, kids learned about global cultures, friendship and performing arts! Kids transformed into performing superstars by the end of the week, with a final performance for families and community members on Friday.

LEAF Camp was open to youth from communities all over Asheville and Buncombe County. Camp was only being offered for one week last summer, and registration was capped at 60 youth!

Dates were: July 21-25, 2014
Hours were: 8:30am-5:30pm (camp hours extended to 6pm on Friday, July 25 for the LEAF showcase!)
Location was: Wesley Grant Community Center in Asheville  (285 Livingston Street)
Camp was open to rising first through fifth graders!

LEAF Camp is currently in preparation for 2015!
