Handcrafts & Folkarts

"Be What you are. Don't be what you ain't. Because if you be what you ain't, then you ain't what you are." -Ernest Lee, Folk Artist

Along the way to enjoy some incredible music at Lakeside Stage, your senses are overcome; the scent of crepes from one side, the splash of laughter from the other, and is that your friend on a massage table over there looking ooooh so relaxed? This is indeed life the way it should be.

Ahead, the Juried Art Fair pulses with life; the muted throbbing of carefully crafted drums, sun sparkled colored glass and cleverly scented soaps and ornate candles vie for your attention with the current featured performer on Lakeside Stage. It's a tough call...

Over 40 artisans, contemporary and folk-styled, demonstrate their craft and sell original artwork, clothing, jewelry, musical instruments and more throughout the festival weekend. Dance in a new batik dress, join the drum circle with a new drum, or light up your campsite with a new candle. For many, the treasures acquired here serve to keep fond memories of LEAF fresh and alive.

LEAF Art Raffle to benefit LEAF in Schools & Streets

At each festival, the LEAF in Schools and Streets tent supports an Art Raffle. Participants can purchase raffle tickets and choose which items they would like a chance to win. There are so many wonderful items to win including: Jewelry, Folk Art, Musical instruments, clothing and more - all donations from LEAF artisans - as well as LEAF gift baskets which include CD's , mugs & posters. Don't miss this opportunity to stop by and support the LSS program - and hopefully win a fantastic prize!
